No matter how far down the well I am, if I connect with people I know and care about IN PERSON, my entire attitude changes - I am buoyed by them. A collective sigh, a hug, a smile, a good laugh. It gives my soul a much needed breather.

Good timing on this ... so many—all over the world, but certainly here in our beleaguered country—are feeling so disconnected, so topsy, turvy and tilted. You concluding paragraph says it all. We MUST continue to find ways to connect, help, support, because without that, we'll become rudderless in some very unfriendly seas. Beautiful piece, Beth.
